In 2018 we created an animated video that told the story of the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank over the previous four years of its operation. A year later and on the occasion of its 20th anniversary we created a corporate video telling the whole story.
For an investment bank that has become a regional leader in its field it was important to give the video a strong concept, for which we chose a captain at the helm of a large ship, which is a returning feature of the video, to remind viewers of its leadership status.
Pre-production included working with the bank on a suitable voice-over commentary script which would tell the story well. We then recorded the commentary and used it in our direction and production, synchronising the footage and then adding motion graphic messages on screen in post-production.
