Under the pressure of an uprecedented financial recession, the Thessaloniki Hotels Association decided to rebrand their logo and publish a modern presentation of Thessaloniki as an introduction to its yearly Members Catalogue. Colibri was assigned to author the publication in full:
- device the basic messages and narrative,
- collect relevant info from various sources,
- select from the different assets and
- present the “selling points” of the city and design a flexible brochure that can easily be translated in the languages of the target audiences.
The 64-page B5 brochure aims at presenting the city’s advantages to international tour operators and travel agents. The text speaks in a vivid, personal tone and describes Thessaloniki as the setting for easy living among friendly people, as the historical and current host of various cultures and trends, and as a starting point for visits in the wider area of northern Greece.
