This is not a new journey. For centuries, camel caravans and schooners have been braving deserts and seas carrying the ingredients of baklava, like spices, nuts and dried fruit from east to west and back again.
This journey continues still, with the fresh perspective of a leading local producer of handmade baklava, Kolionasios, and Colibri gladly got on board.
We designed the logo, the website and a new collection of packages. We drew our inspiration from the origins of baklava - ancient Greece, Persia, the Ottoman Empire and the Arabic culture.
Now, Kolionasios Baklava Gold is voyaging out once more, east, west, and north and south, being introduced to a bigger and wider international audience, as an elegant sweet for every citizen of our modern world.
